Highmast
The idea of highmast lighting has been used for over one hundred years. Although the concept has remained remarkably unchanged, the design and operation of high mast systems has improved considerably. Why is highmast lighting so popular? Simply because it can light significantly large areas with very few poles and luminaires. Furthermore, highmast lighting provides reduced glare, improved uniformity, and the high mounting heights allow the poles to be located away from high traffic areas, making them less prone to being damaged or to getting in the way of starage containers and the vehicles used to maintain them. Typical mounting heights exceed 60 feet and the use of a motorized lowering system allows us to easily and cost effectively maintain the system from the ground.
